I chose St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center as my primary hospital. If you become ill and need to go to another hospital, I have arrangements with other Internal Medicine Doctors who will care for you.

To reach me after hours or on weekends for urgent or emergency needs, please, either call 911 or go to an emergency room, or call my answering service to speak with me directly or the provider on call.

Your urgent needs are important to me. My office leaves several appointment spaces open for same-day visits. By calling early in the day, you are more likely to get a same-day appointment. This way I am able to provide you care with continuity and the assurance you are getting the very best.

For medication refills, please have your pharmacy fax us a request. We make every effort to handle these requests within 24 hours. Many are done the same day. This way, one call to the pharmacy is all you need to do.

Winding Creek Medical Arts will be converting to electronic medical records (EMR) in 2009.  EMRs have many advantages to our patients, such as improved safety and efficiency of your care.  It will be a major project for us so don't be surprised to see information technology staff and other training personnel assisting us with the conversion.  They all are bound by the Health Information Privacy Act (HEPA) so your health records have a high level of protection and security.
